Active Week took place in Ballycullane N.S. recently. The whole school took part in an array of activities from long puck to water fights! Have a look at what we got up to in the galleries below!

Splash Tuesday was a so much fun! 1st – 6th went swimming in the Apex, New Ross in the morning and when they came back the whole school got together for some water based games and races ending with a huge water fight!

We’ve been fortunate to have Sharon Molly with us for the past couple of months as an SNA. Sharon is a champion Irish dancer and taught us some céilí dancing!

Sports Day Part One

Our Active week was to end on Friday with our Sports Day but the weather didn’t play ball! Before the heavens opened, we got our stations completed. The races had to wait until the last week.

We completed the 2nd part of our Sports day on the last week of school. We had class races, sack races, egg & spoon races and 3-legged races. The sun shone brightly and we cooled down afterwards with some ice-cream kindly provided by our wonderful Parents Association.
