Playground Leaders Training Day
The Boys and Girls from 3rd to 5th class had a great day training as Playground Leaders with Nicola from Sports Active Wexford.
In the morning, they discussed the qualities of leadership and what makes a good leader. They then donned their hi-vis vests and got to work creating games in teams in the yard. After lunch the leaders got to put their new learning in to practice when they instructed the Junior Room & 2nd Class.
Our new Playground Leaders received their certificates at the end of the day. We look forward to seeing them put their new skills into action in the coming months.
