Ms Walsh’s class have been learning all about autumn and its effects on plant-life. Drawing inspiration from the season and the school yard, the children explored negative space printing using fallen leaves.
Then they used pointillism techniques to create the illusion of autumnal trees. Check out their creations below.
The boys and girls in Ms Harney’s class were busy learning about hedgehogs recently. They their made their own to bring home with them!
Mrs Furlong’s class have been learning all about Tessellation in Maths this week. Children from fifth class tried their hand at emulating the mosaic tiles on the floor of Loftus House using pattern blocks and their new knowledge. See how they got on in the photos below.
