In March 2015, Ballycullane N.S. underwent a W.S.E. (Whole School Evaluation). Our inspector was Noreen Bambury.
The inspector spent 3 days in the school. She spent time in all teachers’ classrooms over the course of her visit, during that time the school continued as it normally would. She observed the teaching of Gaeilge, English, Maths and Drama in each classroom
Classes 2nd -6th filled out pupil questionnaires for the inspector. Parents also filled out questionnaires and that information was correlated at the Department. Representatives of the Parents Association met with the inspector. The Board of Management also had a meeting. The Management team had an interview and question and answer session with the inspector as did Mrs Furlong.
The inspector was there with us for those days absorbing the atmosphere and relationships within the school and our ways of interacting and operating.
Ms. Bambury was very professional and a pleasure to have with us, lovely with the children, astute in her observations and supportive with her suggestions.
In her feedback meeting Ms. Bambury was highly complementary of Ballycullane N.S. , the staff and the pupils. Please click the link below to view the report
