An ‘old’ friend of Ballycullane N.S. popped in to visit us the other day with her team mates from St Leonard’s F.C. As you can see she’s done very well for herself! Well done Jennah, it was great to see you!
Last week we found out what an incredible amount of talent we have in our little school when we decided to run Ballycullane’s Got Talent! We were treated to a variety of top class singing, dancing, rapping, keyboard playing and gymnastic display. The teachers has the toughest job picking finalists and then it was up to the kids to cast their vote for their favourite act in a secret vote.
A very well done to Aed who was the overall winner!
The boys and girls of 4th – 6th class went on their school tour to the Hook Lighthouse, Loftus Hall and Tintern Abbey on Thursday 21st June. They made art on slates at the Hook and visited the lighthouse. After that they went for a scare in Loftus Hall followed by lunch at Tintern Abbey and a tour of the Abbey itself. A great day was had by all!
The children from Junior Infants to third class went to Woodfield House in Oylegate for their school tour.
There they played, worked with their hands, made things and had harmless low impact fun – They made giant bubbles, did pavement drawing, participated in buttermaking, played bodhran (very loudly!) , milked cows. and listened to Mrs Flowers tell stories.
A massive well done to all the boys and girls who represented Ballycullane N.S. at Wexford Primary Sports Day in Enniscorthy on May 23rd. We had a wonderful sunny day and all our competitors did their school proud!
