Ms. Kent’s Class were exploring the topic of Tessellation last week. They made some beautiful patterns using pattern blocks. Have a look at the gallery below at their work.
Aileen Lambert came to visit us on Thursday to see how we were getting on with our Creative Schools initiative. We have been working on various creative topics this term and were keen to show off our new skills.
The infants sang Fair Rosa with Aileen, the middle room showed how they’re doing with their new music programme Dabbledoo and the senior room demonstrated their film making skills.
Mary from the New Ross Standard was there to take some photos too and we will feature in a piece about Creative Schools Week, 4th – 8th November, in the next edition of the paper.
All the boys and girls in Ballycullane N.S had a great day on the last Friday before the midterm break. Everyone came to school dressed up in their spookiest costumes and took part in some traditional Hallowe’en games. Have a look… if you dare!
Ms Walsh’s class were busy in October learning all about the season of autumn. They painted some lovely leaves using autumn colours, made spooky silhouette scenes for Halloween and 2nd & 3rd class wrote some wonderful poetry about autumn leaves. Have a look at the gallery below at their work.
We learned a lot about 2D shapes during Maths Week in infants and the middle room. Have a look at how we got on.
