Ballycullane N.S. celebrated Proclamation Day on Tuesday 15th of March. The flag received from the Defence Forces was raised after which the children played Amhrán na bhFiann on the tin whistle and sang Oró Sé do Bheatha ‘Bhaile and Hail Glorious Saint Patrick. We also had a reading of Padraig Pearse ‘The Mother’ and we listened to a reading of our own proclamation.
